Meet the Eagle Scout Class of 2023from Carroll County

 

Carroll county serves more than 200 youth annually. In 2023, four of these youth achieved the rank of Eagle Scout.

Below you will find all of the Eagle Scouts from Carroll County, including a photo, project description and congratulatory video. Feel free to explore and learn about each Eagle Scout.

Carrollton  |  Troop 5155

Project Beneficiary: Village of Malvern

Craig's project was building 6 wooden benches for the comfort of people in Malvern Community Park. Craig Brackin became Troop 155 137th Eagle Scout.  He is a senior at Carrollton high school and Buckeye career Center where he is a lineman  and electrical student. He is a five-year troop member,  fifth year pipestone, fifth year polar bear and ordeal member of the order of arrow. He joins brothers Eric and Clint on Eagle Rank.

Carrollton  |  Troop 5155

Project Beneficiary: 5th Street Park, Village of Carrollton

Eric constructed an outdoor body weight/calisthenics gym at 5th Street Park in Carrollton. Eric erected 5 posts in total with a main pullup bar, ladder, and parallel-bars. The posts will be dug and concreted in the ground, with a mulch covering. 

Eric J Brackin became Troop 155 136th Eagle Scout  in October. Eric is a senior at Carrollton high school, Five year troop member, fourth year pipestone, fifth year polar bear and ordeal member of order the arrow. he built a Calastatic gym for the Carrollton Village 5th St., Park where the community can get fit.

Malvern  |  Troop 5155

Project Beneficiary: Village of Malvern

My project is a multi stage project consisting of fixing a bench, boxes, and landscaping. The landscaping consists of putting in new limeston and a new bush, as well as riding the area of weeds. The bench consists of redoing the wood and painting the frame on the bench and putting new plaques. The last part of my project is painting the wooden boxes and same color and redoing the plexiglass on the door.

Project Beneficiary: Village of Malvern

For his project Joshua led a group to paint metal poles for three different pavilions at the Malvern Village Park.
