Good Scout Luncheon

Rice’s has a long history of supporting and giving to need-based organizations, local non-profits as well as youth based groups and individuals in Stark and Summit Counties. The Buckeye Council, Boy Scouts of America is proud to honor Bryan and Kevin Rice and Rice’s Landscapes Redefined with the Good Scout Award for their legacy of shaping our community for the better.
Silver Beaver Celebration
The Silver Beaver Award recognizes adult volunteers for exceptional service to Scouting at the council level. The Silver Beaver Award was introduced in 1931 and is a council‐level distinguished service award of the Boy Scouts of America. This is the highest honor that a volunteer leader can be presented at the council level. Recipients of this award are extraordinary individuals who have dedicated their lives and service to Scouting and their communities.
