EAGLE CELEBRATION
Honoring the 2022 Buckeye Council Eagle Scout Class
The Eagle Celebration is a unique recognition event honoring the 126 youth who achieved the rank of Eagle Scout, Scouting’s highest achievement, during 2022 in the Buckeye Council. This on-demand, digitally delivered experience features a 25 minute show recognizing the entire class, the Eagle Project of the Year, guest speaker message from Senator JD Vance, and highlights of the Buckeye Council.
Achieving the highest rank in Scouting is a tremendous accomplishment representing the culmination of years of effort and leadership. Reaching this pinnacle is a worthy cause for celebration for those parents, leaders, and mentors who traveled the trail with each scout, and also for our communities. These 126 scouts have given significant service to help others, and the work they will continue to do throughout their lives ensures a bright future for us all. Eagle Celebration Guest Speaker
Born and raised in Middletown, Ohio, JD served our nation as a Marine in the Iraq War. He went on to earn degrees from The Ohio State University and Yale Law School. Before his political career, JD wrote a New York Times bestselling memoir, and has been successful in both leading and starting businesses.
