Wyandot county serves more than 125 youth annually. In 2023, two of these youth achieved the rank of Eagle Scout.

Project Beneficiary: Upper Sandusky Parks and Recreation
In the past, the Gottfried Nature Center has had two large signs in front of its observation deck. Now only one strands and it has been rotting for the past 15 years without proper repair. Daniel reconstructed and replaced both signs, turning one into an infographic detailing the position effect that wetlands have on our carbon footprint and the great contribution they give to wildlife diversity. The second sign was a map of all the key locations of the nature center with notes about their history, purpose, and effect on the environment.

Project Beneficiary: City of Upper Sandusky (Parks Dept)
Benjamin completed a sight survey for all trees inside the boundary of the park's running track to identify each tree species. Once all trees are identified design placards to hang on or near the tree in accordance with acceptable park practices.
