Nicholas C.
Ashland | Troop 7586
Project Beneficiary: Ashland County Park District
The project at Pine Hill Parks aims to enhance accessibility and recreational opportunities by constructing bridges that will connect various trails for both hikers and park employees. These bridges will facilitate smoother and safer movement throughout the park, ensuring that visitors and staff can navigate the terrain with greater ease. Additionally, the installation of picnic tables will provide designated spaces for relaxation, allowing hikers and employees to take breaks, enjoy meals, and immerse themselves in the natural surroundings.

Gracen C.
Sullivan | Troop 7586
Project Beneficiary: Ashland Grace Church
Constructed five interactive wall games for children ages 5-12 at Grace Church in Ashland, including two Tic Tac Toe boards, a golf ball maze board, a Connect 4 game board, and a magnetic marble run board. These games provide engaging and structured entertainment for children on Sundays and Wednesdays, ensuring they have enjoyable activities while they are dropped off, during free time, and while waiting to be picked up. This initiative enhances their experience by offering fun, interactive play options in a safe and welcoming environment.

Caleb H.
Perrysville | Troop 7537
Project Beneficiary: Loudonville High School
Caleb constructed dugouts for the soccer fields at Loudonville High School to provide players with a designated, sheltered area during games and practices. These dugouts, built by Caleb, offered protection from the elements, creating a comfortable space for athletes to rest, strategize, and store their equipment. By enhancing the field’s infrastructure, Caleb’s project improved the overall experience for both players and coaches, fostering a more professional and organized environment for the soccer program. Additionally, Caleb’s efforts contributed to the long-term development of the school’s athletic facilities, benefiting future teams for years to come.

Cameron N.
Medina | Troop 7556
Project Beneficiary: Buckeye Chippewa / Copley Trap Range
Cameron's project involved building scorekeepers' chairs for the Buckeye Chippewa Youth Trapshooting Program, a nonprofit organization that also competes in shooting sports. These chairs provide scorekeepers with an elevated vantage point, allowing them to better observe targets, assess shooters' form, track barrel movement, and determine shot placement.

Chaden S.
Ashland | Troop 7507
Project Beneficiary: Ashland City Schools
Chaden's project involves constructing tables that can be converted into benches, providing versatile seating solutions for Taft and Ashland High School (Ashland City Schools). This initiative aims to increase seating availability, offering students and staff flexible options for both dining and socializing. The convertible design maximizes space efficiency, allowing the tables to function as traditional seating areas or be transformed into benches as needed. Chaden's project enhances the schools’ outdoor and communal spaces, creating a more functional and adaptable environment for various activities and gatherings.

Austin S.
Ashland | Troop 7502

Lance T.
Perrysville | Troop 7521
Project Beneficiary: Hillsdale Local Schools
Lance designed, planned, and erected a veteran's memorial at Hillsdale High School. The memorial features a 2000-pound granite block topped with a life-size bronze battle cross, all set on a substantial concrete base to counteract ground shifts. Inspired by a deep appreciation for military service, Lance sought to fill a gap left after the school’s annual assembly honoring veterans. While the school dedicates a morning to recognizing local heroes through events and speeches, this moment is quickly forgotten as daily routines resume. Placed in plain view, the memorial serves as a constant reminder to acknowledge veterans' sacrifices—a gesture that can be especially meaningful for those facing mental health challenges like PTSD.

Zachary W.
Jeromesville | Troop 7521
Project Beneficiary: CASA
Zachary’s Eagle Scout project consists of building three signs for the CASA organization to help raise awareness of their mission. CASA is dedicated to finding safe, long-term homes for children who have been victims of neglect or abuse by appointing advocates who support and represent these children in court proceedings. These advocates build relationships with the children to ensure their well-being and safety.
As part of his project, Zachary will install two larger signs at the front and back of the property, featuring the organization's logo and motto. A smaller sign will be placed to direct visitors to the designated parking area. Additionally, Zachary will create a flower garden around one of the signs, enhancing the visibility and welcoming appearance of the organization. To further support CASA, he will also work towards adding their business location to Google Maps, making it easier for people to find and connect with their services. Through this initiative, Zachary aims to increase public awareness of CASA’s mission while improving the functionality and aesthetics of their facility.
