Ethan G.

Dellroy  |  Troop 5155

Project Beneficiary: Malvern Veterans Memorial

Ethan helped his local historical society by improving their veterans memorial. His project included pulling weeds, laying down mulch, creating a river rock area, and possibly adding grass. To prevent future weed growth, Ethan also installed turf, ensuring the memorial remained well-maintained and visually appealing for the community.

Project Beneficiary: Carroll County Golden Age Retreat

Jacob renovated the multi-purpose room at the Carroll County Golden Age Retreat, which was in desperate need of an update. Jack K.

Carrollton |  Troop 2150

Project Beneficiary: Minerva YMCA

Jack constructed a 10' x 14' storage building for the YMCA in Minerva, Ohio as part of his Eagle Scout project. The building was designed to store gas-operated equipment, sporting gear, and maintenance tools, providing a secure and organized space for the facility. Jack built the structure with a wooden frame covered in metal sheeting, ensuring durability. The building featured a "lean-to" roof, with a flat metal sheet angled upward in one direction for proper drainage. He also installed a hinged,

double-door entrance, designed to pull open rather than push, preventing obstructions inside from blocking the doorway.

To prepare the site, Jack laid a large gravel pad and installed a weed mat, creating a stable foundation and reducing maintenance needs. His project provided the YMCA with a much-needed storage solution, benefiting staff and visitors for years to come.
