Shreve | Troop 4071
Project Beneficiary: Ohio Division of Wildlife
Xantheus's project involves completely rebuilding the Funk Bottoms observation deck, a popular spot for locals to observe birds and wildlife. As part of the project, Xantheus and his team will tear down the existing deck and construct a new one following the same floor plan. This reconstruction is necessary because, after a series of storms, the current deck was deemed unsafe for use. Through this project, Xantheus aims to restore a safe and functional space for the community to enjoy nature.

Project Beneficiary: Silver Dollar Sportsman's Club
Rhyse's project involves constructing four 12-gun racks, two 2-gun racks, and two 20-gun racks for the Silver Dollar Sportsman's Club. The two 2-gun racks will be placed at the Shoot to Retrieve trial blinds, while the four 12-gun racks will be designated for the trap houses. Alex reconstructed a 16.67-foot-long bridge for the City of Wooster walking trails. This bridge featured four segments for the handrails, each approximately 4.17 feet long, with diagonal, alternating beams. The bridge's floor was built using 26 pieces of 2x6 lumber. Through this project, Alex improved the safety and functionality of the walking trails, providing a durable and visually appealing structure for the community to enjoy.
